“The Books and Ball You’ve Got it All”

Academy Sports Club is a registered non-profit organisation, run solely by volunteers who tirelessly give their time and expertise to give the players access to organised football at a consistently high standard. They believe in taking every opportunity for the players to experience competition at international standards, not only in Cayman but also in overseas tournaments both regionally and internationally.

The club has over 250 youth players between the ages of 4 to 23 years as well as a Senior Men’s team. They are the only local club participating in six CIFA youth leagues. In addition, they are extremely proud to offer a specialised programme called Football4All, which provides an opportunity for children with autism to participate in weekly football fun.

The Academy Sports Club’s goal is to develop excellence in youth football while fostering personal integrity, leadership skills, community awareness & commitment to academic success. Their motto, “The Books and the Ball You’ve Got it All” combines excellence in youth football development with an environment that emphasises academic success.

The members of Academy Sports Club come from a wide range of backgrounds and educations, but all are equal when it comes to playing football and representing the team. The club is committed to giving everyone the same opportunity irrespective of their status. The one thing that they all have in common is their unwavering dedication to work as hard as they can, to be the best that they can; they aim high and with the help of the coaches, support staff and parents, achieve results that some never thought possible.
